Description

This is Arduino project for you with called LED Scrolling Display Board Circuit Using ATMega 328P. Accordingly Circuitstoday site describe that the name itself infers that the LEDs are connected in a matrix format i.e., in rows and columns. The matrix can be formed with the desired number of rows and columns. However, 7X5 (5X7) and 8X8 dot matrix displays are readily available as modules. The designer can use these modules or can build an array by using individual LEDs. As the LEDs have two terminals, the matrix orientations are of two types. The row terminals are of Anode type and the column terminals are of Cathode type vice-versa or the row terminals are of Cathode type and the column terminals are of Anode type. Not everyone might remember the Aibo robot dog Sony released back in the 90s, 1999 to be exact. It garnered a lot of attention at the time, but the technology of the 90s wasn’t good enough for Aibo to go on to become a long-term product.

That might change with the revival of this cute robot dog. At CES 2018, the Japanese company showed off the newest version of the Aibo, and you know what? It’s not half bad. Sony manages to put a lot of tech into this little product, which includes around 4,000 parts for it to act life-like.

To make things interesting, the robot has a camera on its nose in order for it to recognize family members and friends. Additionally, it has another camera on its tail to map your home, so it will never become lost.

As expected, the new Aibo comes with several sensors, which means, if the owner pets it on the head, back, and under the chin, the robot will respond in an affectionate matter that is similar to a real dog. In fact, the device will move in similar ways to a puppy with an overabundance amount of energy.

The Indian government has expressed intentions to launch another highly ambitious solar power program. The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy is exploring the appetite for setting up floating solar power projects.

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), an entity under the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, recently issued a document inviting expression of interest from prospective project developers interested in setting up floating solar power projects in the country. 

The document mentions a possible capacity of 10 gigawatts. The SECI, however, does not give any justification for choosing such a massive target for a largely untested segment of the solar power generation technology.

SECI has called upon the prospective developers to share how much capacity they are willing to develop under this category and their past experience in setting up solar power projects, including floating projects. The project developers would also be required to submit an indicative tariff for these projects.

This is the first concerted effort by the government to a dedicated program to set up floating solar power projects. Earlier, the ministry launched a pilot program wherein developers were awarded small floating projects with cumulative capacity of 50 megawatts across the country.
