Simple Dry Soil Detector for Plant Watering Circuit Schematic

In here we will show you one simple Dry Soil Detector for Plant Watering Circuit Schematic like in figure 1 below.

  1. R1 = 150
  2. R2 = 50K
  3. Q1 = C828
  4. D1 = LED
  5. BZ = Buzzer

Description

Dry Soil Detector for Plant Watering Circuit Schematic like in figure 1 above is very simple circuit that very helpful to you. The circuit works as follow:
  1. The circuit work based on switching transistor depending from input transistor bases. 
  2. When probe A detect the dry soil it will make highest resistance on transistor bases, and make the transistor work like switch off and the buzzer BZ turn off and LED not light.
  3. And when Probe B detect cool soil it will make low resistance on transistor bases and make transistor triggered on and make transistor like switch on. With this condition the Buzzer BZ on and LED light.
  4. To adjust the sensitivity we can adjust the R2 as the voltage divider in transistor bases that will make transistor on or off.
